PRP MLAs meet Chief Minister

Tirupati MLA and founder of the erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party K Chiranjeevi met the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy at the later's residence Monday. Chiranjeevi is accompanied by other Praja Rajyam Party MLAs including Ganta Srinivasa Rao, MLC C Ramachandriah and party leaders Buragadda Vedavyas, Kotthapalli Subbarayudu, Kamineni Srinivasa Rao and others. During the discussion, the Chief Minister asked Chiranjeevi to submit the merger letter to the Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar Reddy which enables the MLAs who won on Praja Rajyam ticket and later took Congress membership as associate members to the ruling party. Since the winter session of the Assembly begins on December 1, the Chief Minister asked Chiranjeevi to complete the formalities by that time.

Discussing politics in the State, Chief Minister told Chiranjeevi that the chances of Telugu Desam Party moving a no-confidence motion against the Government are very less, and even in case that happens, they have adequate strength. Kiran Kumar also said that those who left the party to sail with Jagan are returning back. Chiranjeevi on the occasion, asked Kiran Kumar to release funds for the development of Tirupati constituency. He also asked the CM to give preference to members in Market committees in constituencies where PRP has sitting MLAs.

Chiranjeevi also invited the Chief Minister to attend the engagement ceremony of his son and Tollywood Ram Charan Teja.
